EFLA has comprehensive expertise on analysis and design of structures for new construction projects, from blocks of flats to very large buildings. We pride ourselves for customised solutions in order to meet customers’ requirements. We use a variety of construction methods and materials while working with many building types.

HVAC and Plumbing
EFLA offers exstensive services on design and supervision of, for example, drainage systems, heating and potable water distribution systems, cooling and ventilation systems, snow melting systems, sprinkler systems and swimming pool installations.

Electrical Systems and Lighting Design
EFLA provides extensive services on the design of electrical systems and lighting for all types of buildings, exterior as well as interior and in both new and existing buildings. Designing, programming and commissioning Control- and Building Management Systems is also an extensive part of our work scope.

Acoustics and Noise Control
Acoustics design is one of our specialities. Mapping and measuring sound/noise is among the procedures used as the basis for improving acoustics. Also, sound insulation and noise from technical services must be taken into account for indoor sound environment. Outside, all noise sources can be evaluated and controlled.

Fire and Risk
EFLA offers performance based fire safety design and risk management consulting, from underground structures to high rise buildings, as well as emergency management planning and training.


TRANSPORTATION

Traffic and Planning
Traffic safety and planning include for instance, safeguarding against noise pollution, safety evaluation, basic planning of areas and parking arrangements. The Company also offers extensive consulting on traffic planning both within and outside of urban areas. Preparation of construction in both urban and rural areas is many-sided and EFLA’s strong cross-disciplinary teams offer services covering all the key factors.

Transportation Structures
EFLA´s design covers all categories of bridges. Road construction, design of all types of streets and intersections as well as planning of roads and infrastructure are all part of EFLA´s work.

Environmental Engineering 
Among EFLA’s services is the design of drainage and water distribution systems, waste disposal, environmental and safety management, utilization of natural resources, environmental impact assessment of procedures, green bookkeeping, and research on air and water pollution.

Nature Conservation

Aluminium Industry
Designing and servicing electrical and control management systems for the aluminium industry and other heavy industry involve many factors, from design of the control panels and piping to software programming and access equipment, together with plant operations. EFLA is at home in the aluminium industry.

Food Industry
EFLA’s specialists thoroughly understand the electrical and management systems used in the food industry, together with all types of automation.

Chemical Industry
Consulting concerning production management in the chemical industry is one of the special services that EFLA offers, as well as database management which, for instance, traces production (lot number system).

ENERGY AND UTILITIES

Energy Consulting and Data Processing
Energy consulting includes, for example, preparing forecasts of energy needs, power systems outage statistics and advice to firms on energy use and efficient utilisation.
EFLA’s design, software programming and installation of computerised systems for data collection and processing, together with, for example, data bases, are founded on the Company’s extensive experience.

Power Systems
Power systems analysis, reliability evaluation, power quality and environmental impact are among services offered by EFLA, as well as consultancy on the electrical design of high-voltage transmission lines, underground cables and substations.

Power Transmission
Preparation and design of high-voltage transmission lines, pylons, and substations have been one of the cornerstones of EFLA’s work for decades.

Hydropower
EFLA’s service includes preparing and designing various HEP. Supervision of HEPs is a part of EFLA work as well as refurbishment and maintenance of powerhouses, dams and other related structures.

Geothermal Power Plants and Utilities
EFLA carries out initial and final designs of geothermal power plants or utilities, construction supervision, and environmental impact assessment.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Project Management and Supervision
EFLA has demonstrated trustworthy experience in carrying out a large number of construction supervision projects as well as monitoring of maintenance and of HVAC and plumbing systems, power plant construction and earthworks. The Company’s project management operations range from building renovation to extensive new construction and implementation of meetings, conferences and large exhibitions.

Real Estate and Maintenance
Special emphasis is placed on maintenance consulting, computerised real estate monitoring, preparation of bids and contracts, and supervision and monitoring of maintenance work. EFLA attaches great importance to renovation of older buildings and preservation of their cultural value.
